1. Cleansing effect
• Shower gel: Due to its liquid form, shower gel can be applied more evenly to the skin, forming rich foam, and thoroughly cleaning the dirt and grease on the skin surface. The type and concentration of surfactants can be adjusted as needed to achieve different cleaning effects.
• Soap: Soap produces foam through friction, and the cleaning effect depends on the concentration and type of its sodium salt of fatty acids. Since soap is highly alkaline, the cleaning power is usually strong, but it may also cause dry skin.
2. Moisturizing effect
• Shower gel: Moisturizers such as glycerin, hyaluronic acid and urea are usually added to shower gel, which can keep the skin moist while cleaning and prevent skin dryness.
• Soap: The glycerin in soap has a certain moisturizing effect, but due to the strong alkalinity of soap, long-term use may damage the skin's natural barrier and cause dry skin.
3. Applicability
• Shower gel: Suitable for all skin types, especially dry and sensitive skin. The formula of shower gel can be adjusted according to different skin needs, such as adding moisturizing ingredients, anti-allergic ingredients, etc.
• Soap: Suitable for oily and normal skin. For dry and sensitive skin, soap may cause dryness and irritation, so use with caution.
